Shift Scan is a mobile-first, offline-first time tracking and crew management application built by Exactix Corp in Burley, Idaho. Workers clock in by scanning a QR code at the job site — GPS verifies their location automatically, and the app works even with no cellular or Wi-Fi signal. Managers review timecards, approve hours, and export payroll-ready reports from a web dashboard.
The app supports English and Spanish out of the box, runs natively on iOS and Android, and was designed from day one for people who spend their workday in the field — not in front of a computer. Founded by Zane Gillette, a construction company owner who couldn't find a time tracking app that worked for his own bilingual crews, Shift Scan was built to solve a real problem on real job sites.
